As of last night, I am officially a member of Community Board 4 in Queens NYC! It is an honor to serve in this new role.
Being that I was born into a cult that teaches people not even to think a political thought, I have come a long way to now serving on a board that deals with any and all issues in the community. From a major development, to a liquor license.

Hi Isaac, thanks for this blog. I listened to your episode on The Influence Continuum with Dr. Hassan. I was born and raised JW & escaped when I was 18. I really broke away at age 12. I appreciate the level of specific knowledge you share with audience members in the podcast. I do think so many topics and issues still must be shared and covered. My father was an elder and was extremely abusive. I'm trying to clean up my life right now, because the effects of growing up JW were so much more terrible than I had planned, I just wasn't prepared to understand how much was truly wrong with me after leaving and growing up in that way. Peace. If there's any way to keep speaking out about this I'd be interested and I'd like to help, as part of my own healing process.
